Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

How to get to UCPA Val Thorens?

A while back I had sought advice on a solo ski trip and now my mind is set on UCPA Val Thorens from 14/15 March 2015.

Thing is, I would be in Nice, France before that. Does anyone know how to get to VT from Nice? UCPA has a list of transfer, and has many places to choose from - other than that I don't know the landmarks or even if it is a return transfer? Does anyone have experience booking with UCPA UK directly?

Action Outdoors only transfers from Geneva and Grenoble Airport though.Sad

In the course of my research for altitude and whatnot, I have summarised what I feel to be pertinent information to decide on the UCPA. Hopefully it'll be handy to other skiers/boarders in the future! Smile

None of the places listed are anywhere near Nice. Swiss fly from Nice to Geneva for £29 one way and have free ski carriage and get normal transfer from Geneva. Or hire car would be my suggestions
