I have found a great deal for Bansko in Mid January. I am however a little concerned about the lack of snow at the moment. Could anybody tell me what its like out there and if any is any more snow on the way?

Big dumps have been great base now, snow in town also

People were concerned about the level of greenery so we didn't take the deal... retrospectively a poor choice. The'Great' deal was 7 nights half board inc lift pass and carriage for £406pp (this factored in our airport parking too)

Bulgaria can suffer from poor snow . However currently BG seems to enjoying much better snow than lots of the Alps
|

@Mollerski Yeah I have been before... Not ever going to be my first choice resort but for that price you can't say no... unless there isn't any snow of course haha

Hopefully helpful, take £20 notes and change at Bansko Bank last time got 2.08 UK and 2.32 at the bank. Quick and easy to do. Do not use man on the street corner!

Great SKIING and SNOWBOARDIGN to be had currently , a lot better snow than a lot of other places , all lifts and runs open
