Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Thinking of buying new ski boots, but where to buy ? I'm going to Austria (Ischgl) at the weekend. What are the pros and cons home or away.
i.e. price,selection, fitting sect cheers in advance.

And do you have trouble with boots in general? If you have normal feet and don't do a lot of skiing it maybe doesn't matter too much. If either isn't true, go and see cem.

I'd vote home and a reputable boot fitter, as it's a lot easier to get back to them to have them tweaked if you find they pinch or press anywhere after you've used them in anger.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I've just got new ones fitted in the UK - the main reason was the recommendations on here and the time it takes to get them fitted properly - but if you are travelling this weekend then you probably wont have time to sort out any niggles so I'd probably look for recommendation for boot fitters in Ischgl now - I'm in St Anton next week - just hoping for more snow
