Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi Guys,

We have a transfer booked from Grenoble to Moutiers (Bens Bus), on our way up to Meribel for a week.

Once we arrive in Moutiers on the saturday evening, we were planning on doing some food shopping for the week, then hopping in a mini bus of sorts at the station. Is this wise, or would it be a good idea to book transport from Moutiers - Meribel?

Hi Joe, a taxi from Moutiers should be around €60 to Meribel but taxis might put the price up after 7pm. You might as well prebook the transfer to make sure you know how much you will need to pay.

There is a Lidl just behind the station or for better choice Carrefour is about 10 minutes walk.

There are regular buses from the station up to the 3 valleys resorts too. Cheaper than a private transfer / taxi (depending how many of you there are, of course).

Ah, the altibus looks like a good option. There are only 4 of us travelling.

@Dia_FindTransfers, The lidl is no more sadly, however the carrefore is not too far a stroll.
