Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Haha. Spent a great afternoon here years ago lapping fresh snow with no more than 5 people on the lifts. Didn't understand how they could stay in business when we were only paying 8Euros for the tickets!

b]@Nick D[/b],Thanks for that, internet here is not up to posting photos. Skiing is good though Very Happy Alpe d'Huez fairly quiet yesterday, except for marmottes. Walked straight on to Pic Blanc cable car at lunchtime.
@scottishskier, Lift pass has now reached astronomical sum of 11€ for a day, a coffee and hot chocolate was over 3€ rolling eyes
Steak chips and salad was 8€ so we eat our sandwiches instead Toofy Grin There was probably about 80 cars in the upper car park in the afternoon so I guess they pull some money in. Seems to me it is very much a community thing anyway.
@Claude B, Yes, go for it€., can be a bit crusty in the morning though, especially the black.

@Claude B, Yes, would have given you a call on Tuesday but we made a last minute decision and as we are in Allemont this week it is only 20 mins away. Did Alpe du Grand Serre as well, really good there and not terribly busy either. Bit windy on the top section though. Was going to have a go at their pre marked / secured ski touring route but even the end of the stage 1 section looked a bit hard core for my modest level Laughing There appeared to be a bail out point earlier but that piste was closed to descend down so just skied around and enjoyed the sun Very Happy

is that the route that follows the ridge line by the Grand Serre and Pérollier?

I did a skimo competition on that route in 2005
