When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Courier skis within France

Has anyone shipped skis within France? We are traveling first to Paris for a short stay before heading down to Chamonix, and arriving from Canada with our kids and ski gear. I would like to ship them from the airport directly to our chalet. Just wondering if anyone has done this and if it is convenient. doesn't look like there is a DHL outlet at the CDG airport, however. We would like to ship our gear as soon as possible to avoid having to carry it...anywhere (!) Thanks!

I've shipped skis from France to the UK and have used an online company called http://www.envoimoinscher.com/ They also ship within France.

When I shipped to the UK the actual carrier was UPS and it cost about Euro 40.
