Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi -- this is my first winter as a single lady in quite a while, and I suddenly realise I have no friends who love to snowboard like I do... so I am being open-minded and looking for people who are going on holiday any time after the end of january. I am a pretty good snowboarder (six seasons, lots of off-piste, some heli) but not very fit these days, alas! I also love skiing although I have only done a couple of days, so if you are a beginner skier we could fall over together. I'm 32, pretty laid-back and happy to fit in with other people's plans. So please let me know if you have any space....

I'm sure you'll get some offers, but if nothing else materialises, all snowheads are welcomed at the two trips at the end of the season. Details in the "events" section and they are the BLAM and the EOSB. Hope you enjoy the site, we're a friendly bunch. Very Happy

Thanks for the prompt replies! The EOSB looks like fun, I might be up for that.
I've added my profile to the thread, but I can't get the "user facilities" menu to work, so that I can see who people are etc. Is this cos I've got a mac?
By the way, I'm interested in trips to the snow anywhere in the world, not just Europe.
And I also love x-country skiing.
