Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi all

I stuck this up elsewhere but this might be a better place.

Started back on the snow leaning to ski but have jumped back on a board. Now knowing that boards have improved somewhat it was a doddle! So I intend to go regularly.

So I am in Bristol and I don't mind driving but would be good to have some assistance on the fuel. It's a 2 hour drive on a good run and I cn accommodate 2 bodies and kit. Its a nice car and as long as you don't mind my spirited driving then I am open to offers !

Will also consider Hemmel.

Hemel would be slightly closer for you, would it not? Although to be fair, if you're there for a day or two, there's probably more to do in and around the Xscape

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Why not go to Churchill dry slope? I know it's better in a fridge, but is it 4 hours better?

Thanks for the info. Hemmel would probably be easier. Boring drive but easier..cheaper too This is newish information to me! I would be there and back in the day and not a big fan of Nandos!! Hemmel may be a good option.

I have dry slope phobia after dislocating my shoulder at Sheffield back in the day.

I lived in Devon before so used to everything being hours away. They need to get Weston underway.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Surely Tamworth has to be worth a look as well from Bristol? Straight up the M5

All pretty much the same time and distance give or take 15 mins. I learnt at Tamworth as well. A long while ago. I hear it is less icy.

So, lots of choices then! Do I get stuck in traffic around London, Oxford or Birmingham?!
