Poster: A snowHead

I'll be in the UK in a few weeks, and thought about picking some of this up - in particular the Butta Wax Butta Pro. Anyone used/using it? Just thought I would mix it up a little (I'm usually using various SWIX blends based on temps).
Thanks

I have some butta wax here. It is green. I neither know nor care the temperature it is intended for.
It has worked fine for me, but I'm no ceraphile... I suspect I'd have a hard job telling good from bad

no, Swix is great. Was just after some opinions. At the very least (if the stuff is garbage), I can use it as storage wax next summer

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

i use butta pro it slides pretty well, the only thing you'll find is it's slightly sticky when scraping.

@jogi, i bet your great fun at a dinner party.
@Lilledonmarco, ive been using butta now for a few trips and think its fine, i noticed it gets sticky when very very cold, saying that i noticed other people struggling on said cold day and i cant imagine all of us were using butta. I am a completely average snowboarder with about 12 weeks on the snow and i'm not sure i could tell the difference between different waxes

I've got some Butta, their regular stuff and their 'pro'. It's as good as any other wax I've used and certainly good enough for any recreational skiing that might be done. I was a ski tech many moons ago, and worked with the company that imported Swix at the time, so while I'm not a mad keen wax geek, I have a pretty reasonable clue as to what I'm doing.

thanks all for the input. I can get Swix very cheaply here in Norway, so I guess I will stick to what I have been using.

I've used Butta.... it smells great!
That's about the only difference I could notice between that and the usual Holmenkol stuff I use.
