Especially if they can't get their money back from the current owners, assuming they have actually paid them something up front.

Yep and given it is their second largest place don't how they could possibly rehouse people in other resorts.

Yep, 150 odd person hotel which is always just about fully booked will be very messy for all concerned. I am sure there are worried people at esprit, seasonairres and customers.

Esprit Ski Programme Director, Ian Hope, advised: “We are of course aware of these developments last week, but assure our guests that any disputes regarding the ultimate legal ownership of the hotel do not affect our operation of Chalet Hotel Crystal 2000 this winter. As it is currently a French company that owns the hotel, this guarantees us water-tight protection as a ‘sitting tenant’ under French law, so from our point of view it’s very much ‘business as usual’. We look forward accordingly to welcoming our Esprit guests here this winter and ensuring them all a wonderful family ski holiday with us in Courchevel!

@Esprit Ski, good news, certainly one of our personal favourites and glad to hear it's still on the books for this year at least. You'll find esprit often comes recommended or suggested in these parts amongst those with younger families.
