Poster: A snowHead
|
I'm planning to take a week off work in early to mid-December and I would like to go on a guided off-piste ski holiday somewhere in the high Alps (maybe Chamonix or Tignes).
I've been on several guided trips with UCPA before, which were fantastic, but they don't open their doors until late-December.
Can anyone recommend any other companies that organise similar trips before Christmas?
Cheers,
Pete

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

It's a bit early to be honest ..... limited snow cover usually limits the available terrain .... so not surprised there is little available.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

welcome to snowheads @coolbeanz
In many, perhaps most, years the snow cover in those high rocky spots is not too good in mid December.

Snoworks do off piste courses from early December. I've been to Tignes with them the first week in December 5 out of the last 6 years and we have always had great conditions, despite always panicking the week before when it looks like there is no snow.
