Thanks @Bartezki, we had prepaid our passes for the Xmas week. The OH foned inghams today and they have agreed to deduct 120euro from the holiday cost. A lovely winter-warmer.
Bet they would never have mentioned it if we hadn't asked.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Crystal have said they will not pass on the saving as they buy from a 'third party' but the previous passes have all been from Dolomiti Superski, so not sure who this 'third party' is. They also advertise they will get the best price for passes, but when I emailed, they informed me they guaranteed they would give THEIR best price, so be warned!!

Looks like every crystal staff member in the dolomites will be getting a mega drink for Christmas courtesy of their guest.

I'll make sure everyone on the bus knows they can buy in resort for 40€ less, it's an unbelievable liberty.

In Crystal (and Skiworld's) defence in the past we've bought tickets in advance then been given a refund back when in resort when it turned out that the passes were discounted. Obviously no guarantee they'll do it this time...

Update. The week before we set off on our Xmas break, I posted on Twitter, after Crystalski had posted about the benefits of prepaying lift passes, in which they said we would be reimbursed, and then got a phone call from resort informing me our account would be credited with the 80 euro, which it was.
