When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi SnowHeads, good to stop lurking on here!

I've managed to find time for three weeks skiing in Sainte Foy this winter (two weeks and then one week). I've looked into ski passes and it seems like the cheapest way i can find is to get a season pass. Does anyone know if there is any benefit to buying a season pass fit Sainte Foy in advance over just buying one at the office when I arrive?

Also, I know it's not the most expensive ski pass in the Alps, but if anyone has any cheaper ways than a season pass, let me know.

3 6-day passes would be cheaper than a season pass, as would one 13-day pass and one 6-day pass.

Otherwise, there's no advantage to buying in advance and no discounts to be had!

Thanks! Simple addition obviously too difficult for me. Given the original prices, I didn't think there would be much chance of a discount.

if you buy week passes you used to get a day in val or tignes for free. not sure if you still do or not. Withe the season pass, no freebies although its so cheap its prob worth it just in case you get another last minute week
