We used 360 (?) Ski school in January for our 4 year old. Excellent school, my lad learnt and picked up more in 5 mornings than he did in a dozen private lessons at home.

Try Morznet for a list of all the ski schools and what they specialise in. We offer privates for all levels and groups at good prices www.pds-academy.co.uk

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

We have used 360 for our grand-daughter very successfully and also BASS too. Les Gets Ski School - Tim Scott is also very good.

Our daughter has also had lessons with BASS (in Morzine) and LGS (Tim Scott) in Les Gets and I would highly recommend both.

Echoing the above - 360, and LGS. Depending on what you want. LGS in particular will get booked up well in advance and 360 for school hols (I would email now)

Looks like I left it too late for 360 for the mornings, BASS is more expensive, has anyone used ESF Les Gets ?

Believe me you really do get what you pay for, BASS are awesome

Oliver8, one of the things I really liked about BASS was that the maximum group size was 6 and there were two instructors with each group (this was when my daughter was aged 5 and 6). There would be one fully qualified instructor and one trainee instructor. Like Sarah says, you get what you pay for.

Oliver8, in school holidays ESF sometimes have huge groups - I've seen 14. BASS are good (not that I've used them for some years, but they were excellent). Or maybe get afternoon lessons with 360.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Our grand-daughter made much more progress with 360 than she did with ESF which she had the first year - she was very happy with ESF, no problems there, but we all felt that things could have moved a bit faster - big classes.

We used LGS and Ecole 360 for our kids. I would definitely recommend LGS as they were brilliant. ecole 360 didn't endear themselves to us by claiming they couldn't find our booking and when they did, they said it was our fault for booking so early

You know it makes sense.

Used 360 in Les Gets once with private group lesson. Thought they were OK. However, since experiencing other companies I have to say on reflection it was average. This is quite subjective though as other 360 instructors may be better than the one we had.

Used BASS, 360 and ESF at various stages of kids development - but overall were happy with 360 and have used them the last 3 years
