Poster: A snowHead

Off to Meribel on Friday. I've decided I should upgrade my ski jacket - quite fancy a Schoffel, but I'll have to keep the receipt hidden from her indoors. Should I nip out at lunchtime to the local ski shop, or should I buy locally in Meribel? If so, is there any particular shop in Meribel that offers good prices. Thanks

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

I bought a schoffel in August from Snow and Rock in their half price sale of last seasons stock, plus another 10% off on top of that, so got a £300 jacket for £145
Not used it yet but from fumbling around with it I can say it definately looks quality!!
Nothing more to say really, just thought i'd rub it in that I got one so cheap I guess.
Sorry

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I have a feeling I might have to do that if I get the new jacket I was looking at. I have a feeling mother dearest would go off it if she found out I spent £285 on a jacket

If there's a Macarthur Glenn near you with either a tog 24 or Helly Hanson I'd point you there. Bridgend site has both so spoilt for choice. Bought my last 2 ski jackets there.

Yeah was in macarthur glenn Ashford at the weekend actually! Got some alright looking base layers half price at Helly Hansen
Some pretty nice looking other stuff there too - windproof hat from Tog24 that covers my ears, and a nice bag with wheels to take it all there !!!
Hit and miss sometimes that place, if its quiet and stocked up theres some good bargains
