Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I just got next week off work - and clearly realise that its my last chance for a quick slide. Unfortunately I can't do the whole week as the missus is back at work on Thursday night.
Anyone got any ideas and suggestions for a Sunday - Thursday trip?? Would mean flying from Scotland or north england ....

Jet2
fly Leeds/Bradford - Geneva (loads of options from there). The one I'm doing next week is
easyJet
flying Liverpool - Basel which is useful for Jungfrau region and could (probably) access Flims and Engelberg fairly easily. Otherwise easyjet fly to Geneva, but flights are expensive at the moment.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Well if you do decide to take up David@traxvax's suggestion, if

's Savoie forecast is correct, it couldn't be much better! Up to 30 cm of fresh snow forecast until Sunday evening, followed by a few days of broken cloud and still reasonably cool temperatures to ski all that powder! (It's already coming down quite heavily just down the valley in Bourg Saint Maurice - not settling, but we're at 895m here...)
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

You can fly from almost anywhere either to Lyon or Geneva. Hire a car - 2½ hours drive from either and you're here. Not as expensive as the "posh" resorts, but great ski-ing, and currently fantastic snow.
