Gjspain, where is your chalet? La Chapelle is quite a sprawled out place. Also where do you plan to ski from as one of the shops near a base could be a better option.

Gjspain, I know the chalet, I've stayed there! So you could ask Susie who she normally recommends. The Intersport places are all in Chatel so you'd have to get the bus or drive up there anyway, same to the shops in La Chapelle too, nothing in walking distance of the chalet really. Our party has rented stuff for about 5 weeks and has used a few places. We like Pre la Joux Sports best for good kit, convenience as in right on the slope and you can store kit overnight with them BUT this is only really good if you plan to ski from Pre la Joux otherwise it's a pain as it's about as far from your chalet as you will go. In Chatel town, we've used Vertical Horizons who are really good and english owned. For the easiest option you could get Ski Hire 2 U to come to you! They are a mobile service and will come to your chalet the evening of arrival or early the first morning. Our group has used them a couple of times and the convenience factor is good but the kit from Pre la Joux sports is the best of the three.
If you particulalry want an Intersport one then I'd go for the Super Chatel one as it's at the lift.

Thanks Sarah, I like intersport as if you book online in advance you get a good discount.
I was planning on taking the skis to the chalet, can you remember does the bus stop near the chalet?

Gjspain, the bus stops on the main road between Chatel and La Chapelle, not sure the exact location of the stop, I would estimate that the chalet is a good 10-15 min walk from the main road, can't be certain as we always drove out from there. Have you booked it catered or self catered? If catered they will run you about anyway.
