 Poster: A snowHead

Hi all,
I am planning a 50th birthday celebration next year. I want to link a ski break with a "concert" which could involve a bigger name music artist(s). For example I have a recollection reading that Robbie Williams played at an end of season event recently.
Any advice/suggestions most welcome for great resorts and established concerts

Macro, that was in Ischgl, I believe.
Events like concerts usually only happen in Ski resorts at the start/end of the season and during New Years week from what I've seen.

Snowbombing is in Mayrhofen.
Its more of a DJ dance music event though.

The biggy is Ischgl.
Elton John was last year.
This is at their season end in April.
The concert is free if you are staying at tourist office registered accommodation and have bought a ski pass.
There is no hike in price for either, either!
Otherwise - Obertauern is celebrating 50 years since the filming of the Beatles' HELP! and have some bands playing in early spring.

I can't say I'm much interested in Mr Williams, but the season before Ischgl closed with Deep Purple, who did a rather good set. Anyone would think they may have been practising for about 40 years. Solden often has bands end of season also, although last year it was thin because of the timing of Easter.

Whistler has the World Ski and Snowboard Festival in April. Spearhead and Mixmaster Mike ( with guesting from other Beasties) when I was there.
