Poster: A snowHead
|
I have some friends going out there a week Saturday.
They are looking for some private instruction for the lady of the house, who had a fall/injury on her last trip so wants to go back to some basics and build up her confidence.
Looking at the recommended instructors thread there is Claude Decagny but that was from 2011. Is Claude still a good person to point them at?
regards,
Greg

kitenski, Claude would be fine, or they could try Prosneige.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Izzy Milne. Based out of Courchevel but may be able to help. She is excellent.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I took a couple of private lessons from Filippo at SkiCool. He was excellent, really boosted my confidence and skills. Also took a lesson from Olivia from same company for my niece, gave her a good start before she started in a group. Have been much happier with SkiCool than ESF.

kitenski, I am available this week from Monday 7th to Sunday 13th April inclusive. You'll benefit of low season rates until the end of the season in Courchevel, Meribel or in Val Thorens. I suggest you to ski mainly in the morning from 9 to 2pm to ski on better snow.
Look forward to seeing you on the pistes.

Hi, an excellent instructor we used last year through Skicool (Chloe) has just set up her own ski school in VT starting next season who is definitely worth considering...even if you're boys...
