Poster: A snowHead
|
Hello all could anyone tell me what the après is like in Le Praz? I'm worried it will be a little quiet.
I've found a really nice chalet here but not too sure if to book.
Thanks in advance

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

It has 4 bars apparently. I don't know how noisy they are so can't decide if they'll be too quiet for you.
You clould always ask them to turn the music up?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

reeksi, is it just you in the chalet, or there with a few friends?
If you're there for the skiing, then best Après is shower/bath, a beer, dinner with wine, couple of games of rummy, and then bed.
Cheaper, and better.
(Unless Le Praz has changed markedly since i was there, it is rather quiet. Pleasantly quiet. Just as we like it )

Maybe Val Thorens would suit us better, its a group of 4 of us in our late 20's and early 30's

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Surely Meribel has the noisiest après in the 3V?

The sports bar in Le Praz has some good (busy/noisy) live band nights, there are other Apres options in the other Courchevel resorts after which you can get a free bus to Le Praz

We went to La Praz in 2009. It was completely dead after around 9pm, which was ideal as we had young kids and enjoy our early nights these days.

La Tania may be similar priced and a little more lively, but if you want late night, big selection of bars etc head to meribel.
