I think there are a few snowHeads heading to Val d'Isere this weekend. Would anyone like to suggest a day and a venue for an apres-ski drink? I'm sking Friday-Monday, so any of those days would be OK for me.

Le Tuf ?? I'll be mainly around the race area, so that's a good place for me, during the day at least.... day doesn't matter, time - as long as it's not in the middle of the race itself on Saturday and Sunday.

I get in to GVA at 9:45 on Sat, so should be at Vd'I 2ish? I'm hoping I'll be able to get out Sat pm, although whether I actually get a slide I'm not sure (lifts shut 4:30ish?). I expect I'll be with the group pretty much all skiing time Sun (the trip included 6 full days instruction/guiding), and 'fraid I have no ideas where we'll be (not that there seem to be many pistes actually open ATM).
Is Le Tuf the one at the bottom of the Tommeuses lifts, or the one a bit higher up....or am I in completely the wrong area?
We should exchange mobile numbers by PM.

I think it is at La Daille, not far from the bottom of the funicular.
What about a possible time of 4.30pm on Saturday?

That's a good idea, I'll send mine to you and to DM - anyone else around at Val on Saturday? I think Bernard is in Bourg St Maurice that weekend, will you be driving up the valley for a bit of skiing?

Les Tufs is located between the bottom stations of the Funival (funicular) and the Etriots (chair). The Etriots and the Daille (bubble lift) have adjacent base stations.
Les Tufs has a bar at the Funival end of the building. The bigger part of the ground floor is a restuarant. Upstairs is a buffet restuarant that is open in busy parts of the season.

You could always meet at the Folie Douce up the top of the chair and then ski down! Great music and party atmosphere. The move on to Cafe Face - same band same great music!

I'll be in 'Le Tuf' (by the Funival bottom station) at 12.30pm on Saturday. You can't miss me, I'll be wearing a fluorescent green jacket with dark blue stripes, marked Les Arcs Ski Club
Then again say around 4pm?
May not be skiing because of the Criterium, so would prefer we meet there if at all possible....
Bernard is already in BSM, no Internet connection, but I'll be seeing him later on. He was intending to ski at Tignes today...

I hope you didn't settle for Tiscali in the end? If so, you'll be lucky if you've a connection by the weekend!

PG, no, went for Wanadoo as they were similar in price to Tiscali but offered a much easier (online) sign-up process. Hoping to get it set up with a wireless router I'm bringing out with me tomorrow.

I'm around in the evening. I'll probably get to BSM around 4.30pm and stop at the SuperU before heading up to Les Arcs. I thought I'd come back down to say hello, but if you're planning a meal that sounds even better...
