Poster: A snowHead
|
Three of us flying into geneva next thursday 15th at about 1700 until 21st lunchtime , we are intermediate (me only just and me mates int++).
the question is which resort would be best ? we are flexible either car hire or transfers prefer catered chalet but open to suggestions dont think accom will be a problem.
we had thought of Verbier or Chamonix but not sure whether good idea this early.
Would welcome suggestions.

Dan, I would stay at all of the properties that people promote on snowheads. The catered chalets on offer look especially excellent with the ones in La Rosiere and Le Seignus right up there on my to do list.

charliecolson, I'd check out Chamonix, I've just come back from La Rosiere, which is only 6kms from Mont Blanc directly and it's been dumping down, we tend to get the same weather patterns as Mont Blanc and if they've had as much snow in Chamonix as we've had then you shouldn't have a problem on the 15th. Of course if you fancy a trip to La Rosiere we'd be happy to accomodate you, you can find our ad in snowShops for more details.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

charliecolson, Lucky you....Les Contamines and Megeve which already boast over a metre on top (on their websites) should be opening for the season on the 16th.....and there are other stations in the area.....enjoy!
