Many of you will be aware of the Patrouille des Glaciers race, but the inaugural Patrouille des Jeunes, a version for 15-20 year olds, was held in Verbier this morning. Provisional results place two young British skiers, Ollie Patrick and Max Bailes, in 9th place in the "Cadets" (U17) category, against a strong field of mainly Swiss and Italian teams.

And IIRC a couple of British women did very well in the Pierra Menta last year - so we are obviously taking this sport to our hearts!
