Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Cheapest I've seen is £29.50 each way, Paris to Moutiers, that is the overnight train sometime in October.
The SNCF fares normally only appear 3 months before your date of travel so the December dates aren't out yet

Well if you're thinking December and want to look at Paris to BSM, for example, they haven't released the availability yet

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Sorry, cross-post.
Have to say that the voyages-sncf site crashed twice when I was looking just now. Don't particularly rate that user-experience all round, to be honest.

It varies, depending on demand and how far in advance you're booking. For the week I spent with you last January it cost me 40 euro each way for a couchette on the sleeper from Paris. The same journey at Christmas was 120 euro in one direction, but still 40 euro coming back.

Capitaine Train, in my view (though others may have different preferences!) knocks all the other European train booking sites into a cocked beret: https://www.capitainetrain.com

skichampcouk, £59 return to Paris from Lodon is nothing special. It is the standard starting price.
But like Easyjet, if you don't book early, the price soon goes up.
Prices of trains down to Bourg vary depending on time of day, and whether you go with couchette at night.
Again: cheaper the earlier you book.
I often stay up to book tickets at 1 millisecond after midnight on the day tickets become available.
