Has anybody stayed in a MarK Warner Chalet Hotel. Do they supply bath towels? I assumed they would but a recent comment on a Trip advisor review says not?
Before I pack several towels, can anybody relay their experience?
Thanks
Specifically we are staying in Berangere in L2A.

NickyJ, I suspect they will supply towels, but they may not be bath sheets, just small bath towels.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Small bath towels is fine. The review comment say they were only given a hand towel. They don't say if they requested a bath towel and were refused? This is our first time with them.

NickyJ, I don't remember there being a lack of towels in the ones in which I've stayed (in Courchevel and St Anton). I'd ring and ask if you're worried.
Edit: I would certainly have remembered - and complained at the time - if only given a hand towel.

Pedantica, thanks. It really doesn't seem in line with their marketing image to not provide bath towels. I never expect bath sheets, and very occasionally I am pleasantly surprised.

I stayed at a Mark Warner property in Mottaret last year and there were definitely towels provided.

I have stayed in Mark Warner chalets quite a few times, and there were always bath towels and hand towels there.

Thanks Katia and Raven, I have just had this email reply
HI Nicola,
Towels are provided for the pool. These may well be of the Bath towel variety however these would be in addition to your regular bath towels.
Kind Regards,
Hayley
This implies that we should be getting bath towels.
I presume this guys room they just forgot to leave them and he didn't bother asking thinking it was normal?!?

Expect so. It is quite unusual in a hotel or chalet to not have a towel provided! Hostel or self catering yes, but not somewhere like Mark Warner.

NickyJ, I';ve stayed at Berangere..while I don't recall the specific towels, I don't recall any issues either

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

holidayloverxx, thanks.
kat.ryb, this was why I thought I would try and find out rather than just packing towels for 4 of us. The lighter we can travel the better and the girls are no good at lugging suitcases around.

I've stayed in loads of Mark Warner hotels and they all provide a hand towel and bath towel per person. Plus a mat.

Ditto - I have stayed in many of them, several times including in L2A. Towels are provided and changed on the Wednesday. Hope this helps.

They provide 2 towels for each guest, a large bath towel and a hand towel.
They also used to change the towels mid week.

The chalet staff often tidy up the towels each day when they tidy up/clean the rooms.
Therefore to make sure your towels don't get mixed up with your room mates' towels mark the labels on the towels so you know which towels are yours and theirs.

Very much. Made sure I finished as soon as my legs started feeling too tired, as it is only the first day and I am shockingly unfit. However I was able to ski completely pain free so I am really happy! I can see my girls playing with friends outside and they look really happy, I'll find out later how they got on on skis. Only problem is I think I got too much sun as after having a bath just now my head suddenly started spinning very badly.
