Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We are heading to Sierra Nevada for a couple of nights the end of this month and would like to introduce the children to skiing. Can anyone recommend an instructor or ski school at the resort?

Hi my cousin has just got back from Sierra Nevada,she booked her 6 year old daughter into Ski school for 3 mornings,she says it was the Ski school Sierra Nevada official,they have red uniforms,she had an English speaking instructor and progressed very well was confidently skiing down Blues after. Hope you have a good time, we have skied there a few times, if you get good weather it is fab, just enough skiing for a few days.

Thanks for the reply. I shall try and find the ski school on the web. My partners parents have purchased a villa in the mountains just an hour away so I can see many more trips to Nevada on the cards

There are lots of different schools. I don't know what age their children's classes start, but I had the first of 3 lessons with the British ski school on friday and found it really useful.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
