Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Munich to Mayrhofen Transfer Wanted

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi Guys

Does anyone know of a fairly priced taxi firm or transfer minibus operator or whatever? Or a bloke with a car?

Have been quoted E300 each way which seems expensive.

Train is NOT an option, we're in a hurry, have limited time and we land at 11pm.

(13th to 17th of March)

Thanks!

S

tirol taxi will do it.......think its 80 euro per person each way or they will do a deal on a car / van..........they are also called 4 seasons travel, just goggle them.

but be aware its not a short journey, we did it back in Janruary and it took 3 hours!!! as mayrhofen is a popular destination they will have drop off's on the way, alpbach etc so its not quick

other thing that i was a bit pissed off about was they had us all on a large coach and dropped everyone at the train station and not accomidation, everyone had paid for accomidation drop off, driver didnt care

Thanks - Cacciatore I'm afraid I can't see a company in your signature unless you mean Stradivarious which Google says is a Scottish folk dancing outfit. Would you mind telling me the company name or website? Appreciated.

This FindTransfers site looks like a really brilliant idea - providing that the particpating firms do actually respond. I'll report back! Thanks again.

holidayloverxx, thanks Smile

Spencer82, be interested to hear how you get on. They got a bit of "spamming" criticism here, which I kinda thought was a tad unfair, given the frequency people post requests for transfer options on sH.

BTW, Stradivarious...nothing to do with Scottish folk dancing Laughing

Be careful when you're Googling! I was just looking for the price from Munich to Mayrhofen with Four Seasons Travel because I thought that €80 each way was more expensive than I remembered. Anyway, it seems that there is Taxi Tirol taxi-tirol.eu operating out of Innsbruck and also Four Seasons Travel who's website is tirol-taxi.at
I opened the thread to recommend Four Seasons Travel who, according to their website, charge €85 return per person.
