I'd be really pi$$ed off if I was a K2 dealer.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I'd be pi$$ed off if I'd just paid retail for some.
This is the second lot of K2s.

Perhaps distributor has not sold very much?
or maybe k2 are changing lots of models next season so these will become "last years old stuff"
it also does seem very early to sell off lots of stuff.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I suspect it's a clever dodge to flog them in the UK and not upset their main outlet in Europe. The UK ones will be small fry.

For the last few years their parent company, Pure Fishing, has distributed their own group company products (Shakespear Fishing, Volkl, K2, Line, Marker & Dalbello) as opposed to using independent distributors.

Some prices not that cheap for 12/13 skis. Rictors have been available from a couple of K2 retailers for less than £300 and Aftershocks can be had for £225. Havent seen Bolts or Chargers discounted by that much though.

Kung Fujas are a good price but with poo-poo bindings, could be worth selling the bindings when they arrive and buying a decent pair

They had helmets too. Was very happy to have picked one up until I got a message the other day telling me that K2 had got their numbers wrong and they were unable to fulfil my order. At least Sportpursuit put £5 in my account as a apology.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Happened before with me and a rucksack from Haglofs. Took until the shipment date to notify me though which was annoying. Offered me a Beanie in comp
With some of these unheard of brands offering not so cheap merino and five toed socks you do have to wonder what is going on - are they making stuff just to sell through this channel? Where was the product offered for sale at RRP etc ?
On balance I have had some great kit from them , Volkl skis, Sweet protection Goretex and layers, K2 sticks so I m doing OK. Volkl normally comes out about a week after the K2 sale is over as well by the way!
