Epic images on this mornings news for the Mens snowboard slope style quali.
Unfortunately the BBC web site doesn't appear to offer a chance to watch it again  Ladies on at 10am.
Saying that, it's now on catch up.

BBC red button commentary a bit hit and miss, they seemed to spending as much time arguing about what trick had just been done as they did actually commentating!

Hey quick Q, is it possible to go through from the semis to the finals or is it more like a runners up competition?

Top 4 from the heats go straight through to the final, all others go to the semi. Top 4 from the semis go through to the final, so 12 in each final.

Forgive the stupid question, but why do some of them grab the board with one hand when doing a twirl? Is it for stability?

I believe its because the jumps are pretty big this year and some of them are frightened.

I see the beeb of have had over 300 complaints about the trio of boarding slope style commentators.
Not balanced enough Too much pro Brit bias. Not professional enough WTF we've never (officially) won a snow based medal before!!!
It was totally absorbing,yes there were a few excitable mistakes but it was from the heart and totally genuine and moving.
I'm sure for every 1 complaint there was 100 who were moved to shed a little tear like I was.
Go JJ, team GB and well done Ed and the team.
I can't wait for the skiing slope style and the skier/boarder cross

Womens slopestyle final starts at 9am on BBC2. Summerhayes is going 10th, and looking pretty good.

Spoke too soon. Bad first run and increasingly sketchy conditions for the second mean Katie finised 7th overall. A good performance but Dara Howell stomped it and got a well deserved gold.
