Anyone know what size hex key is needed to move the buckle clip on Salomon Impact boots? I've tried every hex key that I have and none seem to fit quite right.

It'll be a metric one so shouldn't be too weird. You sure it's not a torx head. I'd recommend PM'g CEM

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Dynafit use a torx head, caught me out too, I had to go and borrow one to move the buckle. I think that they are approx 3mm but may be a mill out.

Lol, I was too late. My Leatherman multitool has all the hex keys I may need, just no damned star bits.

Avalanche Poodle, Dynafit use a T20 torx, same as the binding mounting screw size.

CEM, have they changed policy? Cos I'm using one that I thought came with the boots (in 2009)? But I have got a bit of a collection of boot allen keys from various boots over the years, all either Salomon or Technica and I'm pretty sure the Technica ones are the torx bolt keys? Agree it's crap metal though.
