Poster: A snowHead
|
Ok i have been looking at the Nordica and Rossignol skis this season and was wondering what would suit me. Im a Advanced skier and was looking at the SUV 8.1 and Zennith Z5.
I mostly ski on Blue and Red Runs and the occasional Black Run.
Im looking for an all round ski that holds good edge on long and short turns, has good stabilityand good on all snow terrain
Any ideas please?

I've got Nordica SUV somethings and I absolutely love them - they feel very solid and safe, hold edges, no flapping around (but I'm a vertically challenged female and do find them quite heavy to carry around - good for my arm muscles though)

If you wait a little longer (I'm making my first trip over xmas) I can tell you how the C9 (and the cheaper 'limited edition' decathlon version-£169) ski - apart from the 'advanced' label what you are looking for sounds similar to what I do/want and these are what I picked in the end, but I'd say I'm an intermediate, and not a particularly good one at that (i.e. black runs with few falls but little style, hate ice, avoid bumps)
aj xx

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.
