Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Stolen-Head Integrale 005 170cm & Salomon Poles, Val D'Isere

***Mods, I have posted this to the for sale section too, if this breaks forum rules please delete one of them***

Stolen from Val D'Isere, Friday 19th March.

Head Integrale 005, 170cm, Head bindings. Colour black with white/green highlights. Just serviced. Also a pair of black Salomon poles, with orange writing. Go-Pro mount gaffer taped to the bottom of one pole.

Police aware. Yes they are insured (awaiting to hear on excess, wear and tear etc) but skis are a very personal thing and I like them, and I'd like them back.

If you have any info, please reply below, and some kind of reward will be offered!

If you took them, in the nicest possible way, I hope you use them and enjoy them right up to the point you hopefully break both your legs on them.

Many thanks!

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Might be worth putting Val D'Isere in the title of the thread to help narrow it down for folks. There are seasonnaire FB pages for the E-K - might be worth a check.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You need to Login to know who's really who.

Where were they taken from, out of interest? Hope you get a decent payout and can replace them.

Bloke I was skiing with last week had his nicked recently, but he'd just left them leaning against a wall opposite the Toviere lift in Tignes.

I really didn't see many people using locks at all last week.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

They are in some Eastern European ski hire shop by now. There was crew doing over La Plagne a couple of seasons ago and I think they finally knicked a couple of them. Try posting in Russia and Bulgaria

I think you'll find that stealing and buying stolen goods is not limited to people from Eastern Europe.

I guess you could look on ebay. But unless those are particularly specialist then perhaps it's more likely someone just swapped their junk skis for those, in which case you've no chance.

Buy and use a lock or keep paying the insurance premiums?
