Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone know of any cheap-ish accommodation in Flaine for March, for a 3/4 night break.
Easy to book cheap flights to Geneva for around 50 quid.

Loads and loads of cheap modest apartments in
Flaine
. Depending on when you want to go, you could hire an apartment for 4 for a whole week for €300 - €400 (£200 - £300) and just hand the keys in early. There's only a couple of hotels in Flaine which are probably geared for Saturday-Saturday breaks.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, I know PG and his daughter stayed a couple of nights in Flaine last season. But were not impressed with the condition or cleanliness of the apartment. If you don't get any better suggestions in this thread, PM him (he's out chopping up ice off the pavement right now).

, You might be better off in one of the linked villages, Les Carroz or Samoens, there is a much better choice of small hotels that would probably be happy to take a shorter booking. Les Carroz is a shorter drive too....you reach it before Flaine when driving up the mountain.
