Nearly fell off the sofa yesterday when I read the TV listings to see that Ski Sunday was back that day- IN MID DECEMBER!!! Got used to waiting until early Jan for the beeb to dust down it's collective ski boots and engage the ski season. Well done auntie!
Perhaps somebody out there can answer something for me regarding the December race in Val D'Isere. I remember the December "Premiere Neige" in Val D'Isere comprising a downhill, but for the last few years it has become G/S and SL. What happened to the Downhill?

You didn't miss too much in all honesty. I think it has gone down hill over the last few years unfortunately. Still, I'm upset I've missed a couple. It has become a tradition for Sunday evenings!
