For the princely sum of £5.60, I think I might be getting a copy of that.
I think that on the whole, I'd prefer to do that sort of ski-mountaineering vicariously

Just finished watching it. Very good for a shortish film (34min).
It has Pierre Tardivel and Anselme Baud mentoring the young jedi Vivian Bruchez. Classic quotes from Tardival about how.... "the guy (Bruchez) has got great potential, but it's shame because just about everything has already been skied!" he says with a wye smile.
I like the humour the guys have in very sketchy conditions, always good to have that cheerfulness under adversity.
eg. Kilian gripped on the Chardonnet.
Rocks are in play!!!!!

That was an awesome movie. The whimsical soundtrack is a great accompaniment to the seriousness of the skiing. Not entire sure I'd ever want to down climb some of that with skis on though!

Plays fine from iTunes if that's what you're wondering and is in 720p.

+1 re. the soundtrack, perfect quirky match for the visuals.
Looked like Seb Montaz had used a UAV for some of the opening overheads. Seemed very close with no obvious (*prop* edit due to smart back bottom helo pilot friend correcting me!) rotor wash but might be being fooled with a bit of optical zoom and a gyro arm though.

Could be a lightweight jib arm as well.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

He was using a UAV for another Killian film but said he keep losing them!

Finally got round to watching it. I thought it was great! Definitely on the mountaineering side of ski mountaineering, which makes a nice change as far as I'm concerned. The guys involved are quite entertaining, and don't take themselves too seriously, and pull off some pretty alarming looking lines. I stand by my earlier comment about enjoying this sort of thing much more vicariously.

Just watched it as part of a local flms evening in Le Fayet with Seb and Vivian answering questions, great fun and Vivan had some comical answers to the obvious question
"has your mum seen this"

Enjoyed the trailer. They don't take themselves too seriously and it looks like there is actually some skiing in the vid. V bored of some of the extreme skiing vids where they spend 90% of the time climbing up, talking twaddle and then have no choice but to side slip or just do stationery jump turns all the way back down. Utterly pointless in my, solitary, opinion.
