Poster: A snowHead
|
With Scotland's five ski areas facing severe challenges of climate change, Australia's Snowy Mountains (and other mountains) are also looking at a less snowy future.
The ski season's getting off to a hesitant start this month, with poor snow cover. The difference with Scotland is that their colder clearer nights lend themselves better to artificial snowmaking. But diversity of attractions could also be needed.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

That's why I said "hit "register later". "
Would you like an Australian-English, or Australian-French translation?

Is this a record ? A thread in which not one follow up post (incl this) has anything really to do with the original topic. Must be the hot weather
