Wonderful. Just wonderful.
Worth watching right to the end to know she (?) is human after all.
Where is it?
And for the first time i understand this fad for cams on the helmet
Never thought the view would be any good.
Certainly wouldn't if on my helmet, but when you can ski like this: well worth it.
More please!

Candide reminds me of when you collect one of those stars in mario brothers....

Totally irresponsible! I don't care if those trees were 'in on it' - they might have got seriously hurt if there had been an accident.
Just wait till some yoof tries to emulate Candide just after geting their bronze medal and gives themselves such a serious splinter it needs surgical removal.
Not impressed.

Quite a good vid for Candice. A bit repetitive after a little while, but certainly entertaining. Far better than that wanky 'ordinary day' vid. Sickening the way she just seems to float so effortlessly over the snow.

I loved that! That tree-skiing looked gorgeous. Some of the landings on the 360s were ridiculous - semi-cut up powder, off angle, near trees... just shows how easy it all is to them.

I do enjoy these vids of his - for me it is keeping skiing real - I know he is a pro and the footage will be taken from hours of skiing - but the terrain he ski's is available to all and for me it feels real - it is something everyone can aspire to. As opposed to the big budget films filmed from the sky.
I dont think the footage is speeded up btw

MogulMonkey, He's on the Faction Candide 4.0 in this vid, they've got a balsa/flax fibre core which makes them super versatile and playful.

And you need "super versatile and playful" legs to go with them

Some sections of that vid have been speeded up in the editing, probably wasn't as fast and as dangerous as you think.

You know it makes sense.

Hmm . . . multiple cuts on repeat runs, wide angle lens . . . no, nothing speeded up, just cut well.

The audio would be wrong (e.g. higher pitched) if it had been sped up unless they spent an inordinate amount of time redubbing it!

meh, you can pitch shift the audio to put it in a more apparent normal range but as you say, this is just a straight cut vid of a guy that knows the hill like a toddler knows the living room carpet.

I don't think it is speeded up.
But if someone wanted to try and pull a fast one couldn't they just run it through a pitch correction filter? (fairly sure I saw an option for something like that in Adobe premier.)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Yes but it'll still seem a bit off and clipped. Pitch shifting isn't a magic bullet unless the speed change is pretty small.

Excellent. I'm a big Candide fan. So thanks for posting!! I definitely recommend "few words". It's a great watch.
Snow Hound, I appreciate how the irresponsible nature of Thovex offends/upsets some, but you really can't fault his ability.
