Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hey all
I got a pair of Atomic Hawx 80 boots from Castleford EB at the beginning of the year, got custom foot beds fitted at the same time.
After a weeks skiing I got them to trim one of the foot beds a little, since then I've probably done 30-40 hours in the fridge.
I'm quite happy with the left boot but I seem to be having to adjust the right boot a lot for the first hour, seems like I need to over tighten it to get a good hold but then it starts to cut circulation...
Was hoping someone would have some recommendations for a boot fitter in Val T as I fly on Saturday and haven't had the time to sort it here (has only been the past couple of weeks and especially last night that it's bothered me that much).
Some recommendations for a good fitter for when I'm back would be nice as well, I live near Grimsby (in N.E. Lincolnshire)
Thanks in advance for any help.

Daishan
, I have no personal recommendations for ValTho, but if you can get to Meribel or Courch 1650, the Boot Lab are very good. Let me know if you need directions to either.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

He is very good, speaks English, though it's a bit random! A real foot specialist. Best to make an appointment before you go, and note that he does shut over lunchtime. His shop is tucked away on the ground floor of a block of apartments on the opposite side of the piste to the Sunny Express lift on the way down to the Bruyeres bubble. As you ski down, head right towards the restaurants that are by the piste half way down, park your skis by the restaurant, and drop down the other side of the netting.
I've bought boots from him, as have friends and family. He knows what he is doing and you can go back and back to get issues fixed.
