Hi
Love Zermatt from a previous trip last year, and considering booking a last minute long weekend the end of January to return. We stayed at the Hotel Pollux last time which suited us well.
Aside looking at web cams can anyone tell me on the piste, so to speak, are conditions good?
Not looking for off piste but just good on piste conditions.
Many thanks for any advice.

I am in Zermatt at the moment, conditions are fantastic, knee deep powder off the side of the pistes on the glacier. Great piste conditions overall. With the snow forecast over the next few days the rest of the month should be very good indeed.

Heavy heavy snow pretty much all this week and one beautiful sunny day yesterday; amazing snow conditions but hard work on the legs!
