Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

No online catalogue yet but I have a paper version in my paws.
Possibly a wider range of gear than before and this time there's a choice of Merino thermals. £15.99 gets you the basic top or long johns and £19.99 for the new 'Pro' variety. Also the wool/silk/lycra socks for £4.99 look good.

Hmm.... I'm intrigued by the pro merino top. I'm guessing it's a heavier weight (gsm) than the regular version.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The only difference I can see from the advert is that the basic top has short sleeves, no zip and is all one colour. The pro top has long sleeves, a short zip and a snazzy two-way colour scheme. It may be heavier too but it doesn't say.

I find it strange that aldi sell base layers with short sleeves... I managed to pick up a merino winter cycling base layer set from aldi a few weeks ago which had long sleeves and also contained some lycra for a tight fit.... im sure they would be better suited to skiing than what seems to be coming up on the 5th
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Love my several year old Aldi Merino T shirt, perfect for spring skiing with just a softshell over.

Oh and are there any softshell trousers? Talbyem wants some as a mid layer for the day she goes boarding in her bright purple very shaggy fleece onesie as her outerwear
