Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

One Wild Winter Scottish Mountians.

This is only showing on BBC Scotland, but if you have Sky or Virgin, scroll down to the very bottom of the tv guide (past the naughty programs) and you should be able to select BBC Scotland

One Wild Winter in the Scottish Mountains will be shown on BBC One Scotland at 21:00 on Wednesday.

The winter of 2012 was one of the coldest, longest and busiest on record in the Scottish mountains. It was also one of the deadliest. Fourteen lives were lost as extreme weather and a series of lethal avalanches hit the Highlands.

Blending dramatic archive material and footage recorded by people who live, work and play in this environment, this film will reveal what really happened on the mountains and find out how a major meteorological phenomenon helped shape what was truly a unique winter.

Great watch wasn't it. We do live in a truly spectacular and stunning country, one many take for granted and without realising just how brutal it can be at times.

I thought (wrongly) this was networked across the UK, if you didn't manage to catch it on BBC Scotland, it should be on iPlayer tomorrow at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03l5lvh/One_Wild_Winter_in_the_Scottish_Mountains/
