Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Chatel for the 2013/14 Season

Hi all,

Following my last season in Les Arcs for 2011/12, I am back fit and my wife and I are going to be working in Chatel for the coming season. I have skied the PDS a couple of times staying in Les Gets, so while I have skied Chatel a number of days, I do not know the village at alll.

We will be working and staying very near the Linga lift and wondered if there will be any other snowhead seasonaires out this year?

Any advice on the village set up, best bars for seasonaires to hook up, must know places and people, must have facebook contacts etc... any bits of info will be greatly appreciated to get the season in full swing from the off.

Cant wait to get there and leave the London rat race again for 5 months Happy

Most popular seasonaires bar for brits is Avalanche.

Can't really help you with must-know people. I don't know any.
