Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Not sure which one to get. Mainly use on blacks and reds. Carving is main focus. Enjoy off piste, but mainly stick to the pistes. Don't know if anyone has owned either or has some insight on either, that you can offer your 2cents worth!

The Amphibios carve well. Hard to say much more as they are my second pair of skis, the first were K2 amp Force, can't really give an educated comparison as haven't tried others. But having said that, I like them, taken my skiing to a new level or 2. Seem to be really stable and excellent on their edges.

Hi,
I have a pair of the tt60's and found them to be a really solid ski although I didn't end up using them very much. Not because they weren't a good ski - they were - I've just ended up taking a slightly wider underfoot ski on most trips for the extra flexibility. Haven't used the tt6o's for 2 years but remember them being pretty fast and very quick from edge to edge and as a carving ski I would definitely say they lived up to the hype about the Icon range when they were first available. From your post it sounds like they might suit what you are looking for.
As a then half-decent intermediate skier I also found them pretty forgiving of my less than expert technique and they didn't punish you if you skidded a bit sometimes rather than execute a perfect carved turn. They seem softer than they actually are if that makes any sense!
I don't know anything about the Elan Amphino's though so can't compare.
If you decide on the tt60's over the Elan's and are looking for something around the 164 length then I might consider selling mine. They are pretty much perfect only having seen 5 days action at Meribel and a couple of trips to Hemel so PM me if interested.

Good luck with the decision!

Pi, you haven't got many responses, I've got something very similar to the Waveflex 78's - I'm not a skilled skier, but you might find some of the comments in the thread interesting.
