CH2O, I know you and I have had this discussion before and don't agree, but I just don't some of these ski vids. Is it me or is this one long on great graphics, dark moody shots and a bit short on exciting skiing? It also seems to be trying to push the idea of "Oooh, aren't I a bit naughty! Look, I even knocked someone over on the ice rink". Come on, let's have some proper skiing on some proper mountains, not this staged nonsense in a car park.

dunno if its just you fox but i liked it. I'd always go for street sections rather than back country.
i'm not sure about a company aligning themselves to "clients" though, if you sponsor someone then yes, but if you make them pay then using there name & videos to promote a company seems a bit wrong.....

Liked it... Not as much as the first Street segment though. I don't think it has the charm of the first, seems more 'hollywood'

I really really want to like it but I feel like it's 80% staring at concrete walls with flashy lights and artistic camera pans/fades. Missing too much context about where he is and what he's skiing!

eddiethebus, Blimey Eddie! Can't we pass comment on it? I only questioned the uniqueness of the vid as CH20 said that he was unique. As there seem to be a fair few similar vids out there I was genuinely curious as to the way in which it is unique. That's all.
I didn't call CH20 or JP wanky. I said the video was a bit wanky, by which I meant it was long on arty lighting etc.
I did also say above that I fully accept that it may be just me that doesn't 'get' these type of vids. To be fair Driz didn't completely get it either.

meh, Good write up, as you say. Interesting that the film is intended as a sort of chase scene between two skiers. The clip in the OP makes a bit more sense now I know that as I, for one, certainly hadn't appreciated this or even twigged the fact that the various scenes were linear in any way.
