Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

snowcode -Geek ski trip by train; UK devs take over ski chalet, w00t! La Clusaz, France, 19-26th Jan

Snowcode 2014, Free NoSQL unconference ( snow + ski + board + party + great learning = snowcode)
£850 all inclusive. ( Includes 1 week half board accommodation, lift pass, train ticket (overnight) from London St Pancras, there and back, and transfer.



If you're in the area or want to organise your own flights, then accommodation only is £495, payable directly to the chalet company. (we've organised a really cool group discount.)

I'm looking for developers and their partners to join a group of us going to La Clusaz ,France, 19th to 26th of January 2014.
Currently (As of 6 November) we're 11 geeks and partners, and are looking for developers that love to code and ski or board, to join us for an awesome tricked out week of hard core coding + learning + party!

My wife and I have been booking a chalet every year that takes about 20 folk and we fill the chalet with devs and their partners, and have a themed unconference, ...called "Snowcode".

We're all travelling to La Clusaz by train, and will be partying and "session planning" on the train to Paris. At Paris we change station and take the overnight to La Clusaz, wake up at the resort around 7-ish, ready to hit the slopes!

All the money paid goes directly to the ski chalet company, not for profit unconference, organised by passionate devs, for passionate devs...who live to code and ski.

This is a partner friendly week... the chalet sleeps 26 people.
