haha to be fair to the cow he was pretty close to it. When we were biking in Saalbach this year came round a corner on one of the trails and there was a massive cow stood right cross the trail which wasn't for moving at all.
I really dumb and dangerous thing for the skiers to do. They could have given the cows a lot more room. I'm sure you can hear the cow tell him to moove.

Reckon the cow heard the skier say he was going to do some carving.

On a more serious not (sorry), I have been bullied by a herd of cows and I wasn't behaving like a brain dead funny fellow. I ended up having to leap a fence and land in a ditch full of slime, then had a very interesting walk home

I returned from a walk up Scafell Pike and didn't get back till very late, when it was turning very dark. I had to negotiate a field full of cows and they all started to follow me. I had to clamber very precariously over a barbed wire fence.
Quite unnerving at the time. My genes are still intact but my jeans didn't fare so well.

geepee, musher, They are the most docile creatures on the planet. They see grass nearly 24/7. Something that isn't grass is interesting. Just talk to them and rub their noses. The love it*
* Worst thing is that if you pull, you have to get off and walk round the front for a snog.

The big hairy ones with long pointy horns are one of the most docile too.

If you think that, try getting between a cow and her calf. For maximum effect, do so with a dog on lead.
Actually, don't try it. Someone got killed that way two miles from where I live and it isn't so unusual.

Not so. There's quite a few incidents with cows every year around here. Usually when they have young, and you have a dog with you. People even get killed by them. Experienced it myself once. Ended up getting chased by a whole herd of cows who were definitely not trying to get their noses rubbed. My dog had more respect after that!

My regular off road bike ride route is down a long farm track along a river which also has a big herd of cows alongside it. I think I'm usually going down there at feeding or milking time as they all seem to be heading towards me in a group. It always worries me especially when they are right across the track.

Claude B, can safely stand on the 50cm between the edge of the track and an electric fence, and cows on the way to/from the milking shed will pass right by. No danger of being shoulder barged on to the leccy fence. IME. Just stand still, let them pass and they'll do nothing more than the bovine equivalent of "hello, not seen you here before!"
Definitely don't go between cow and calf though. With or with out dog. They won't be on a farm track though, and if the path goes thru a field, there'll be a way round.

Wasn't the dead person....It was the dog
The cow in the OP vid wasn't attacking him. It was trying to get away from the the guy in black. It then checked its 500kg in a single step to get away from him as well.
