Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

spent last 2 days in Flims. Top of mountain is OK but bottom home runs very poor ie mud and slush. visibility today very poor and Voralb glacier and La Sial did not open. some good skiing immediately below Mutta Redonda (pretty well directly below lift) but nobody is going to be particularly happy without significant new snow.
the IFGMA guide I had booked recommended we cancel - good of him actually as it would not have been worth the cost today

Oh dear, that doesn't sound promising...thinking of reprogramming my TomTom for Italy...totally bagging all plans I made.
If I cancel now, I'm only stuck with a 50 CHF cancellation charge... based on what you're saying, it could be worth it. Now if only I can find something good to replace it in Italy!

around 15 cm at resort level. 25 to 40 at 2500 metres.
top of mountain including Mutta rotunda, la siala and Voralb
b all closed.
more force cast tomorrow.
visibility good. temp: minus 10 at 2500.
