Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi all, my 6yo has just been told he needs to wear glasses, a shock to his system initially, but he has embraced it and looks pretty dapper in them. Question! I would like to buy some good quality sun glasses (Oakley, Bolle etc etc) but we now require the prescription lense in them, i have approached most major opticians who are not willing to facilitate our request of buying the frames from a indipendent supplier then the said optician putting in the tinted lense! Can anyone recomend anywhere i can get a set of sports sunglasses fitted with prescription tinted lenses?

Try Vision Express in Harborne, Birmingham (google it). Ask for Ben and mention skiing. He says he can do this sort of thing, but as a contact lens wearer I can't comment personally on his service.
