Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Spindleruv Mlyn VS. Bansko?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,

I want to have a snowboard vacation on the end of jan.
It will be my second week of snowboarding, and my friend never did snowboard.
We are looking for a good nightlife and clubs.
We have lack of budget - 800-900 euro including flight, delivers from airport to the hotel, hotel 7 nights, 6 days skipass, snowboard equipment, 6 days of instruction.

In considering of these terms, and considering I have only the option to go to one of these two sites, which site is better for us:
1. Spindleruv Mlyn
2. Bansko

thx,
Guy

Hi, have a read through this:
http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=101384&highlight=

I have only heard about Bansko from friends who go there annually. It's got a bit more variety than SpindlEruv Mlyn, but Spindl has its charm and some excellent freestyle parks. In terms of piste, there's about 30km in Spindl itself , which is more than enough if you're focused on technical improvement.
The instructors at SkiMAX are excellent, but ask in advAnce for English speaking instructors.
The one to one tuition prices are low, so take advantage. The nightlife in town is good. There's even night time skiing with floodlit runs.
I think you could do your whole trip including the bus to Spindl from Prague with self catering or half board with your budget. The ski pass for a week is ok in price at about £130/6 days.
Prices to fly there are low on wizzair.
Im unable to fairly discuss this as never personally been to Bansko, but Spindl is fun and well worth it for a progressive learner.

Ok, so main bars are silver rock, dolska and Élan. One or 2 hotels have open bars too. Can't remember which now. If you make friends with the locals, then head to Vrchlabi ( nearest town down the hill) for a few more bars... Hmmm... Sounds crap I know, but it's a lot more fun than it seems. However, Bansko may have more obvious bars/ nightlife. Definitely more tourists there.
