Clever marketing with the limited, cheaper and earlier options in the rewards. It's a gizmo for the anally retentive though.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

meh, I agree, a nice offer for kickstarter. Not sure how much extra functionality it offers over a decent spec smart phone & app ?

AndAnotherThing.., I'm not sure you'd want to stick a smartphone on to a skateboard! I guess the components might be more fit for purpose as well.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

i think the main issues are that it would last about 5 minutes on the bottom of my skate deck, and i dont know any snowboarders who even bother to track themselves using mobile apps, let alone be bothered to take things to this level. Skiiers seem to love clocking miles/speed etc, snowboarders....not so much.

AndAnotherThing.., haha, that sounds as soulless as F1 telemetry and I can already see the YouTube uploads of 10 minutes of cat tracks at a steady 20mph.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Trace can identify a tre-flip down 10 stairs, detail every turn on a 100-yard Rincon right, and measure a backflip off a 20-foot kicker at Mammoth. |
Well thats, er, good then, isn't it?
